Ashley Dedmon, M.P.H.

Ms. Dedmon is a public health professional, author, and educator whose passion and knowledge is to save lives through cancer education, prevention, and innovative research. She advocates for health awareness through public speaking as she shares her mother’s battle with breast cancer and her own journey as a BRCA2 previvor. She is the founder of Pink Legacy 50/50, a platform that educates, equips, and empowers individuals who are impacted by or high-risk for breast and ovarian cancer. Ms. Dedmon is a member of the Texas Breast Health Collaborative, The National Breast Cancer Coalition, and the Penn Medicine Basser Center for BRCA Young Leadership Council.

Ms. Dedmon serves as a Patient Advocate for the CITO with Anne Meyn, Bonner Cutting, Judy Perkins, and the broader NCI PS-ON advocacy group to steward the knowledge and resources in the scientific and patient communities.

In October 2019, Ms. Dedmon presented “The Generational Impact of Cancer: BRCA2 Positive” at the TEDxLSCTomball.
