The CITO team conducts transdisciplinary research that integrates perspectives from the physical sciences (physics, computer science, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and imaging technology) with those of oncology (drug delivery, cancer biology, immunology, clinical oncology, and pathology), in order to develop and apply immunotherapies to breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. Our highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team consisting of oncologists, cancer immunologists, cancer geneticists, nanotechnologists, imaging specialists, and mathematicians seek to accomplish the goals of CITO by addressing key issues on cancer immunotherapy and transport properties of the immunotherapeutic agents.
